It's a tradition that when a palace is built, a sacred site must be nearby. Hokoku Shrine⛩️ is a Shinto shrine located near Osaka Castle🏯.

This shrine is dedicated to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the man who unified Japan and also built Osaka Castle🏯.

Hokoku Shrine is a small, tranquil Shinto shrine with cultural significance.

The shrine grounds also feature a statue of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and it's a place of prayer for good fortune.

Admission is free, and if you're lucky, you might even catch a wedding ceremony.
