Osaka's aquarium, Kaiyukan, was crowded with people on the weekends.

This is Osaka's Kaiyukan, one of the world's largest aquariums.

When I visited on a weekend, there were long lines and long wait times, so I gave up on going in.

It's probably best to plan your visit with a little extra time.

The merchandise area can be accessed from outside.
There were plenty of aquarium goods on offer.
The whale sharks were popular, and they looked like some impressive merchandise. ☺️

Many people were taking commemorative photos with the Christmas decorations!
