Shimose Art Museum: A Fusion of Setouchi Nature and Art
Opened in 2023 in Otake City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Shimose Art Museum was designed by architect Sou Fujimoto based on the concept of a "floating art museum" 🫧

With buildings of various sizes scattered across a water basin, visitors can experience a special space where the boundaries between art and nature gently blend, along with breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea.

A free shuttle bus is available on weekends only
However, please note that it may not be available if the bus is fully booked. 🥺
・Business Hours: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Last entry 4:30 PM)
・Closed: Tuesdays (or the following weekday if Tuesday is a public holiday)
・Admission Fee: ¥1,500 for adults, ¥800 for university students, free for high school students and younger

Miyajima is only about 15 minutes from the nearest JR station, making it easily accessible. ⛩️
