The Sanhua plums in Wengyuan, Shaoguan, Guangzhou are well-known throughout the country. Every year during the Chinese New Year, the Sanhua plum trees transform into white elves to guard Sanhua Town.
On both sides of the nearly 20-kilometer-long road from Sanhua Village to the county seat on the Wengyuan Guanlong Highway, 50,000 acres of white plum blossoms are blooming one after another. From a distance, the mountains and hills seem to be covered with a thick layer of white snow, wrapped in silver and beautiful, giving people the illusion of walking into Alice's Wonderland. The entire road is submerged in white, the world fades away, the dross is washed away, leaving only the innocence of nature.

The best time to visit Wengyuan Plum Blossoms is from late January to early March when the plum trees are in full bloom. The park is typically open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
The entrance fee to the Wengyuan Plum Blossom Park is about 30-50 RMB depending on the season. Tickets can be bought on-site or in advance via online platforms, especially during the plum blossom festival season.
Booking tickets in advance is recommended during peak seasons, especially during the plum blossom festival. Booking 1-2 days in advance should be sufficient, but during holidays, booking 1 week in advance is advised.

There are no night visits or light shows at the Wengyuan Plum Blossom Park. However, the natural beauty of the site makes daytime visits particularly picturesque.
The park can be crowded during weekends and holidays, especially during the plum blossom season. To avoid the crowds, it's best to visit on weekdays or early mornings during the blooming season.
