[Hotel Sonia Otaru] A hotel with a large public bath and a canal view from the window

This hotel is located right next to the Otaru Canal.
A new wing was built a few years ago, and this time I stayed in a room on the canal side of the new wing.
Although it is a new wing, the room had a somewhat antique atmosphere and a relaxing interior.
When you open the window, you can see the Otaru Canal right in front of you, making it a great location.

There is a large hot spring bath on the top floor, and you can see the canal from the men's bath, and the women's bath has an open-air bath.
After taking a bath, you can sit back in a chair in the lounge and enjoy the view of the canal in front of you.

For breakfast, there are various menus, from seafood bowls you make yourself to Otaru's specialty herring and ankake yakisoba, and you can even enjoy Otaru wine in the morning.
