[Hokkaido] A mountain covered in pink! Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park

I finally made it to Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park in Abashiri!

This pink flower field started with a handful of moss phlox plants planted by a farmer in 1977 and now covers an area of ​​10 hectares✨

The pink is so cute!

Maybe it was because there was a rain forecast, but there weren't many people around, so yay for the sunny weather🙌

That said, I had to wait two hours for the people to completely disappear before I could take this photo😂

But it was worth the wait, and I'm satisfied with the spectacular view.

It's really far from New Chitose Airport, so I recommend going from Memanbetsu Airport!
