A Trip to Khao Yai: Natural Attractions Near Bangkok

Every time I visit Khao Yai, I feel like my body is rejuvenated by the energy from nature. This time, we had almost a full day to explore before heading back to Bangkok.

Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, spans four provinces: Saraburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Nayok, and Prachinburi, covering an area of 2,206 square kilometers.

Today, we entered through Nakhon Ratchasima or Korat and visited three main attractions:

📍 The first stop is the Khao Yai Viewpoint 30, the first viewpoint you encounter when entering Khao Yai.

📍 The second stop is the Dong Phayayen Viewpoint, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its diverse and rare wildlife.

📍 The third stop is Haew Suwat Waterfall, a beautiful waterfall with a height of two meters, easily accessible with just a 10-15 minute walk.
