
Tianliang Scenic Area is a karst landscape ecological area. It is a carbonate funnel geological landscape formed in the coastal environment of the Limestone Period about 300 million years ago. It is named after the saying "Tianliang stands tall, its spirit piercing the sky."
The area is famous for its tall and majestic peaks and rocks, deep and quiet valleys, majestic stone gates and beams, mysterious underground rivers and caves, wonderful and magnificent springs and waterfalls, and rich and colorful folk legends.
The dreamy landscape is poetic and picturesque, and has been favored by literati and scholars of all generations. It is said that Emperor Qianlong once visited here.
It is located in the subtropical climate zone and also has the characteristics of an alpine climate. The average annual temperature is between 10 and 12°C, the average temperature in July is 21.8°C, and the average annual precipitation is around 2,000 mm.
The best time to travel is autumn, when the weather is dry and there is no annoying rain to interfere, so you can have a great time.
Ju Cui Stone
Located midway up a mountain on the northwest shore of Tianchi Lake, a massive rock rises abruptly, covered in verdant wild evergreen ivy, giving it its name. A famous verse praising the rock's beauty reads: "Cup the moon in the water, and fill your clothes with the fragrance of flowers." It also reads: "Thousands of green belts bind the green mountains, and thousands of green ladders reach the azure sky."
"Good Luck" Cave
The entrance to the "Good Luck Tongtian" cave is located on the Monkey Face Mountain above the "Swordsman" road of Tianchi Lake. It is named after people's psychological needs to pray for wealth, prosperity, good luck and fortune in their lives.
Lingxiao Tianliang
Lingxiao Tianliang is one of the three major scenic spots in the Tianliang Scenic Area. It is a giant natural bridge in karst landform, located more than 40 meters northeast of Wulong Cave. The bridge is 71 meters high, 26 meters wide, and has a span of 17 meters. Its majestic and magnificent appearance is unique in Jiangnan.
