Should You Visit Pamukkale? The Verdict: Definitely Worth It.

Pamukkale has recently been referred to as a "disappointing heritage site" by some, but my honest opinion is that it’s absolutely worth visiting.

While I couldn’t see the bubbling hot springs cascading down the travertine terraces as shown in online images...
The drying travertine terraces reflected the blue sky, glowing emerald green, and the vast expanse of pure white limestone land was so dazzlingly bright that it almost hurt my eyes❄️

Since the sunlight reflects strongly and it gets quite hot, plus the number of tourists increases, aim to visit early in the morning✊

Although there was a slight artificial feel to it, I personally found it beautiful and would encourage you to visit without labeling it a "disappointing heritage site." The view of Pamukkale village from the hilltop is also breathtaking✨

Additionally, you can access the Hierapolis ruins located in the same area as Pamukkale. These ruins date back to the Pergamon Kingdom, but be prepared—it’s a vast site and can be quite exhausting.
