Pamukkale is a place of impressive beauty, boasting snow-white limestone steps and emerald-hued hot springs. Walking the white steps feels like walking on ice, yet the warm waters envelop your feet, creating a magical experience.

The terraced hot springs are preserved in their natural state, so you must walk barefoot and remove your shoes at the entrance. Soaking your feet in the pools of water here and there can be a soothing experience, and the vibrant colors of the water blending beautifully with the natural landscape make for a truly photogenic experience.

Nearby Pamukkale are the ruins of Hierapolis, making it a great place to enjoy both history and nature, and a full day is all you need to explore. The views from here are truly spectacular, and I couldn't put my camera down.

On a downside, the white limestone can be hot and sore on sunny days, and when there are a lot of tourists, it can be difficult to take quiet photos. If you aim for an early morning or late afternoon, you'll have a much more leisurely time.
