It's well-known that you can climb the Eiffel Tower,
but did you know there are actually even better spots to do so?
In fact, European buildings are generally low in height, so the Eiffel Tower is a little too high and not very suitable for taking photos. (This is my personal opinion.)

Here are some recommended spots where you can get a good view of the buildings and the whole panorama. ✨🏰

📍Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe, Paris's most famous, is connected to the Champs-Élysées. It's impressive to see it from below, but did you know you can also climb to the top? However, since it's only accessible by stairs, those with heart conditions or the elderly are not permitted to climb the tower.

This is a recommended spot for taking photos of the Champs-Élysées stretching into the distance and the Eiffel Tower from the side.

📍Galeries Lafayette
Located right next to the Opera House, this spot offers a great view of the buildings and people from just the right height.

Another advantage is that it's located inside a shopping center, so it's easily accessible by escalator.

📍Sacre-Coeur Basilica
Sacre-Coeur Basilica in the Montmartre district.
Did you know you can climb the tower?
There's a ticket office at the back entrance, so we recommend climbing in the morning or evening when there are fewer tourists. You'll be rewarded with a spectacular view of all of Paris.

This spot is also only accessible by stairs, so those with heart conditions or the elderly are not permitted to climb the tower.

📍Notre Dame Cathedral
Notre Dame Cathedral has just reopened after restoration. Anyone can visit the interior for free, but you can also climb to the top of the tower.
Advance online reservations are required, and a separate entrance is used.
This is the best spot for viewing the Seine River, the Eiffel Tower, and the quintessential Parisian view.
