A free way to spend time in Paris for perfume lovers that will captivate any dreamer.
▪️Fragonard Perfume Museum
The museum has four halls, and at the entrance to each one, you can scan a QR code and listen to or read brief information. Russian is not available.
I really enjoyed the museum. It's a brief and unobtrusive introduction to the history of the House of Fragonard and the perfume production process. For example, I didn't know that base notes are the top notes, while the base is the finishing touch.
A cool exhibit is the perfume organ used to assemble the fragrances. Previously, it was done by hand, but now it's done by a computer.
Downstairs, there's a large shop where you can buy all the brand's products, explore new arrivals, and check out special collections. The prices are very affordable.
The museum is located in the city center, next to the Opera.
It's worth setting aside an hour or a little more for a visit.
The museum is usually uncrowded.
You can book a tour separately.
