Park City Utah - A Stunning Winter wonderland

Park City is a stunning Ski Resort town In Utah that’s worth a visit even if you don’t ski! The town is beautifully designed and feels small and quaint despite it’s growing size, it really gives you the feeling of being somewhere in the Alps. We made a stop here on the way to Salt Lake city and we were not disappointed, we spent a few hours exploring the town in the snow and we were really impressed.

For the ski fans there is plenty of lodging, equipment hire and training for the slopes - with a ski lift taking you to the top for the bigger slopes. There are also plenty of shops for winter gear, food and souveneirs if you are just visiting for the day.

We grabbed a hot coffee and made our way down main street looking at all the gift and craft shops, I was particularly impressed by the native american artists represented in these stores - stunning jewlerry and hand crafts for loved ones.

The streets are cleared regularly even during the heavy snow, but there is also a free shuttle bus if you’re wanting to avoid the cold!

Definitely worth a pit stop for this stunning town, a world away from the low salt flats of Utah.
