Pattaya’s Golden Hilltop Gem

#summervacay Big Buddha Hill Temple (Wat Phra Yai) in Pattaya is one of those spots that feels both peaceful *and* impressive. You climb a staircase lined with golden naga serpents, and at the top, There’s this massive golden Buddha just casually sitting there, looking over the city like a boss.

The view from up here is awesome. You can see Pattaya stretched out below and the ocean in the distance, definitely a great photo spot. The temple grounds are super chill, with smaller Buddha statues, shady corners to sit and breathe, and the occasional monk walking by.

It’s not overly touristy, which is kinda nice. Just be respectful, cover your shoulders/knees, and you’re good. You don’t need hours here, maybe 30 minutes to an hour, but it’s a sweet little escape from the city noise. Plus, that peaceful energy hits different up on the hill.

Easy to get to, free to enter, and full of golden vibes. Worth the climb for sure.
