This trip happened so spontaneously.
From Bangkok, I traveled south, and then to Penang without any plans.

I stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights — no plans, no reviews, just the feelings I wanted to share.

🏝️ Penang is a living island.
I stayed in Georgetown, an old city brimming with charm.
The buildings are still beautiful.
Street art is everywhere, perfect for taking photos.
And most importantly…the food is so delicious you'll forget about it. 🤤

The spices weren't as strong as I thought.
Many dishes were very Thai-friendly.

This trip was a total "eat-a-lot" trip, lol.

🚍 A city that's friendly to everyone.
The buses are clean and on time. You can check the route on Google Maps.
The sidewalks are smooth and there's no splashing water.
Disabled people can walk or get in and out of cars without any difficulty.

Even when the street food stalls are closed,
the area is so clean that there's hardly any oil stains to be seen — a small but very impressive touch.

Some cities we don't plan to visit,
but once we do...we want to go back.
