Huiyan Tower, Hefei 🏯🕊️ — rising gracefully above the lake in Huiyan Park, this traditional pavilion is the soul of the area. Its name means “Returning Goose Tower,” inspired by the belief that wild geese would rest here during migration. With its tiered rooftops, red columns, and sweeping eaves, it feels like something straight out of an ancient Chinese painting.

Climbing the tower gives you a peaceful view over the lake, willow trees, and walking paths below. Locals often sit nearby playing erhu 🎻 or enjoying tea by the water. At night, the tower glows softly under lantern light, its reflection shimmering on the surface — pure serenity.
