A 3-Day Journey Through Jordan’s Magic: My Personal Experience

Just a few days ago, I had the chance to explore one of the Middle East’s most stunning travel routes — from the rose-red city of Petra, through the majestic desert of Wadi Rum, and ending at the healing waters of the Dead Sea.

Day 1: First Impressions of Petra
Landed in Amman and hit the road straight to Petra — a 3-hour drive through scenic Jordanian landscapes. Walking through the narrow Siq and suddenly facing the grand Treasury was surreal. Stayed the night at Petra Moon Hotel — comfy and close to the entrance.

Day 2: From History to Desert Silence
Started the morning climbing up to the Monastery and exploring ancient tombs. By noon, I was off to Wadi Rum — a place that looks like it belongs on Mars. The 4x4 ride across red sands, Lawrence’s Spring, and the golden sunset were unforgettable. The night ended with Bedouin music and food at Sun City Camp under the stars.

Day 3: Peace at the Dead Sea
Left early for the Dead Sea. It’s a 4-hour drive, but floating weightlessly in that salty water — wow, what an experience. The mineral-rich mud left my skin soft and refreshed. Had some quiet time at Mövenpick Resort, just soaking in the views and peace before heading back to Amman.
