Shianbashi Yokocho is Nagasaki's deepest restaurant district, with a long history... Nagasaki's largest downtown area, with popular shops lined up.
Just past the flashy red sign of Shianbashi Yokocho, just past the Shianbashi tram stop, you'll find everything from izakayas, snack bars, ramen shops, Japanese restaurants, small restaurants, cafes, clubs, and snack bars.
Unryutei is a delicious gyoza restaurant serving Nagasaki's specialty bite-sized gyoza.
Founded in 195 (Showa 30), this long-established bite-sized gyoza restaurant has maintained the same taste ever since it opened.
Other than gyoza, there are four dishes such as fried chives, and only rice.
Cheers with bite-sized gyoza, chives and leeks, and bottled beer.
The gyoza is crispy and fragrant on the outside, and chewy on the outside.
If you add yuzu pepper to the sauce to taste, it's spicy and delicious, and you can eat as many as you want.
The egg and chives in the Nira Toji are perfectly combined, with a soft and fluffy egg texture and the aroma of the chives spreading throughout your mouth.
The liver in the Kimonira is also delicious, as the taste of the liver is enhanced just by adding the liver. The liver has no odor and is soft, changing the impression of liver.
The two of us finished the second plate of gyoza.
I wanted to eat more, but I had plans later, so I stopped there.
It's a place where you can't stay long, so we were just in time.
From the tourist street in Doza, there are Gonin Hyakusho and Sanpachi Ramen...it's spacious and has many delicious restaurants, so if you're with a large group, I recommend Gonin Hyakusho.
There are a lot of lanterns, so it's easy to find because it stands out.
The location is on the monument at the site of Shianbashi. Unryutei is a 2-minute walk from the Shianbashi tram stop. From the tram stop, cross the crosswalk in the opposite direction to the arcade, and the second street is Shianbashi Yokocho. You'll know it because you turn and there's a sign right there. (If you ask someone walking by, they'll definitely tell you.)
If you're coming from Chinatown, head towards Shianbashi, turn at the "Gonin Hyakusho" street, and you'll see the sign at the exit of Shianbashi Yokocho. (Ask someone for the quickest route.)
