Saraburi travel plan for 3 days and 2 nights, taking train + public transport

Day 1: Bangkok → Saraburi → Wat Phra Phutthabat Ratchaworamahawihan → Hua Pli Market

Morning
• Depart from Bangkok Station (Hua Lamphong) or Bang Sue Station.
Take the Bangkok-Saraburi train (~2.5 hours).

Recommended departure time: 7:00 AM, arriving in Saraburi around 9:30 AM.
• Arrive at Saraburi Railway Station.
Then, take an orange songthaew (Saraburi-Phra Phutthabat line) to Wat Phra Phutthabat (~20 km, 30 minutes).

Lunch
• Visit Wat Phra Phutthabat Ratchaworamahawihan.
Admire the Buddha's footprint and the beautiful architecture of this historic temple.
• Have lunch at Phra Phutthabat Market, where you can find local food such as Wat Phra Phutthabat beef noodles and traditional chicken rice.

Afternoon
• Take a songthaew back into the city.
Then, transfer to a songthaew or motorcycle taxi to Hua Plee Market (Hua Plee Market), a chic, vintage-style market. Local products, food, and souvenirs are available.
Dinner
• Check into accommodations in the city center, such as Grand Pruksa Siri Apartment or MM Place Saraburi (near the train station, easy to get to).
• Stroll around Saraburi Market, where food is plentiful at night.

Day 2: Thai-Danish Dairy Farm → Farmstay → Pasak Jolasid Dam

Morning
• Take a Saraburi-Muak Lek songthaew (available in front of Saraburi Market/Train Station) to Thai-Danish Dairy Farm (~45 minutes).
• Tour the farm, taste fresh milk, cycle around the farm, and take photos with the beautiful mountain views.

Lunch
• Have lunch on the farm (restaurants available).

Afternoon
• Take a songthaew to Pasak Jolasid Dam. Get off at Kaeng Khoi Station, then take a local songthaew (~40 minutes, approximately 1 hour total).
• Take a tram to view the dam and watch the sunset from the dam crest.

Evening
• Stay near the dam, such as the Pasak Dam Lodge. Or a nearby homestay.
• Enjoy the cool riverside breeze and dinner at the dam restaurant, "Krua Rim Kuen."

Day 3: Pa Sak Dam → Chet Sao Noi Waterfall → Return to Bangkok

Morning
• Depart from your accommodation and head to Chet Sao Noi Waterfall (Muak Lek District).

Take a local songthaew or taxi (~30 minutes).
• Stroll along the water and take photos amidst nature. 🌿

Lunch
• Eat at a restaurant near the waterfall (there are many restaurants and cafes, such as "Chet Sao Noi Cafe").

Afternoon
• Return to Saraburi (Mueang Lek-Saraburi songthaew ~1 hour).
• Take an evening train back to Bangkok, such as 4:00 PM, arriving in Bangkok ~6:30 PM.
