Tonle Sap Lake | Dusk boat ride to enjoy the sunset

Tonle Sap Lake is a large inland lake in Cambodia, spanning four provinces.

This time I visited the lake from Siem Reap province. In Siem Reap, you can rent a boat at the fish market to cruise the lake. It is best to go there near sunset, as watching the sunset over the lake is a real treat.

There are many floating families in the lake. I heard that they have no household registration, so they have no choice but to live in the lake.

The boatman will also take you to one of the floating houses on the lake to see the giant 🐊 and 🐍, and you can also take photos with the sunset on the boat.
