I randomly booked a budget hotel
$35/night including breakfast
Arrived late at night by tuk-tuk
The hotel reception was still open at 12am and the staff were friendly
Quickly checked in and was shown to my room
The room was minimalist and clean
I really liked the dark walnut wood doors and furniture
The details and overall atmosphere gave off a unique vibe

I slept well and woke up to see the sun shining on the balcony
The quiet and secluded pool was shimmering in the sunlight
I was pleasantly surprised that the weather was nice when I had breakfast
The plants in the courtyard were lush and swaying in the wind
It was very peaceful

Even though it's not a luxury hotel
It was very comfortable and relaxing
There were quite a few breakfast options
I stayed for three days and made myself a cup of red tea latte every day (hot red tea + pure milk 🥛)
The omelet made by the warm and friendly waiter was delicious
I couldn't help but share this hotel that I originally wanted to keep to myself
I want to stay here again next time I come to Phnom Penh
