| A Luxurious Experience in Phnom Penh

| My luxurious Phnom Penh experience. I came to Phnom Penh for work at the end of May and stayed at the Palace Gate Hotel & Resort By Ehm. As soon as I walked into the hotel, I was captivated by the environment. Its location in the city center is incredibly convenient, right on Sothearos Blvd, making it easy to find. I took a taxi directly from the airport, and the journey took only 20 minutes. There's a delicious Green Leaf restaurant opposite the hotel, which is extremely convenient.

The hotel's location is superb. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Royal Palace, and there are many other tourist attractions nearby, such as Cambodia Taxi Tours and Vespa Backstreet - Phnom Penh. In the evening, you can stroll to the Amret Palace Pool Bar for a drink 🍹. The hotel's decor is elegant and luxurious, filled with a Southeast Asian palace ambiance. The receptionist speaks Chinese and is very friendly. The welcome juice provides a refreshing respite from the heat, instantly lifting your spirits. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive, including a swimming pool, spa, and gym.

The room is spacious and grand, with a king-size bed that's incredibly comfortable. There's a large window in the room, and when you draw back the curtains, you can see the hotel's garden view—truly a feast for the eyes. Amenities such as a TV, minibar, and safe are all available, along with complimentary coffee and tea, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom is much larger than those in ordinary hotels, and the marble bathtub and separate shower allow you to fully indulge.

There are also plenty of dining options nearby. I recommend walking to the nearby HighGround Sky Bar to sample their signature drinks or visiting the Khmer River Restaurant to savor local specialties. Also, if you enjoy Indian cuisine, don't miss the BJMA Indian and Khmer Restaurant. The flavors are rich and aromatic, perfect for a delicious meal after work to soothe the day's fatigue.

Of course, there are a few minor drawbacks. Getting to some of the more distant attractions or shopping areas requires a taxi. However, the amenities around the hotel are so comprehensive that you won't find it inconvenient. My only regret is that the swimming pool is a bit small and might get crowded during peak season. But overall, it's still a highly recommended hotel.

In summary, the Palace Gate Hotel & Resort was a truly satisfying choice for my Phnom Penh trip. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, you'll find something to enjoy here. If you have the chance to visit Phnom Penh, be sure to stay here~✨
