Yunding Ranch, located in Gaopo Township, Huaxi District, Guiyang City, is a Miao autonomous township predominantly inhabited by the Miao ethnic group, with Han and Buyi ethnic groups also living in mixed communities. The vast Yunding grasslands, situated in the eastern part of Gaopo, are a prime spot for experiencing grassland scenery. The vast flat grasslands of such high ground are rarely seen, and the gentle hills stretch endlessly, creating a sense of the vast expanse of the Great Wall, where cattle and sheep can be seen amidst the wind-blown grass. The mountains are high, and so are the waters. At the extreme summit, a mirror-like "Heavenly Pond" lies, nestled beside the bamboo gardens and thatched cottages of the Miao village. Clouds settle at the mountaintop, gathering and dispersing, creating a ethereal, fairy-like atmosphere.
