🛕🛕 The program to visit the old capital, after Wat Mahathat, we will continue to Wat Ratchaburana, which is close to Wat Mahathat to the east. You can walk to each other, but I recommend renting a bicycle because we will have to go to many more temples. When you arrive, there will be umbrellas provided for free as usual.
🧘🧘 Wat Ratchaburana is said to be the oldest in Ayutthaya and has treasures buried in the temple. There was once a thief digging inside the main prang and the treasures were stolen and escaped. Later, the Fine Arts Department restored and brought the treasures found later to be displayed at the National Museum.
📌📌 The highlight of Wat Ratchaburana is the prang, which has a deep crypt below. The prang is made of laterite, is strong, and can be climbed up to see. And you can see a high angle view, seeing all around the temple. #WatRatchaburana #AyutthayaOldCity
