Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, Ayutthaya

#Visit the temple
Wat Yai Chai Mongkol is located in Khlong Suan Phlu Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The highlight of the temple is the large pagoda, which is believed to have been renovated during the reign of King Naresuan the Great. Inside, the Chai Mongkol mantra was discovered and enshrined in the ordination hall. In addition, the temple also houses the shrine of King Naresuan the Great, which was completed in 2544.

For those born on Tuesday, this temple has a reclining Buddha, which is believed to be the Buddha image for those born on Tuesday. However, as of August 10, 2567, when we went, it was still under renovation, so we are not sure when it will be completed.
