Wat Phutthaisawan is a large and famous royal temple.
Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.

During the Ayutthaya period, Wat Phutthaisawan was built by King Ramathibodi I (King U Thong) in the area where he temporarily resided before establishing Ayutthaya as the capital. This place is mentioned in the Royal Chronicles as "Wiang Lek or Wiang Lek Subdistrict."
After the establishment of Ayutthaya, in 1896, he ordered the construction of this temple as a royal memorial. The next kings probably ordered the construction of many more permanent structures. When the capital was lost in 2310, Wat Phutthaisawan was another temple that was not destroyed during the second fall of the capital like other temples. Today, there are still many ancient sites to see.

This is another temple that I would like to recommend to pay homage to.
