Wat Kudi Dao, Ayutthaya

Another must-see temple in Ayutthaya for those interested in spiritual practices is Wat Kudi Dao, a deserted temple located on the eastern outskirts of the city island in Phai Ling Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. To the north, it borders the entrance to Wat Pradu Songtham and Wat Chakkrawat (abandoned temples). To the south, it borders the village entrance. To the east, it borders the road leading from the Wat Sam Pluem Chedi roundabout, opposite the entrance to Wat Mahaeyong. To the west, it borders a grove of trees on Wat Pradu's land. The Fine Arts Department announced Wat Kudi Dao as a national historic site in the Royal Gazette, Volume 52, Part 75, dated August 8, 1875.

Wat Kudi Dao is a large temple from the late Ayutthaya period, located in what is believed to be the northern part of Ayutthaya, off the island, east of the Pa Sak River. This area is believed to have been an ancient city community before the founding of Ayutthaya. The area remains lined with ruins of buildings and chedis from temples from the Ayutthaya period, but the ancient remains of Wat Kudi Dao remain. It is one of the best preserved temples in Ayutthaya and is a must-see for those who believe in fortune telling. The temple is home to Pu Som, the guardian of wealth, who will pray for blessings, financial success, and career advancement. #GetDiscountsWithoutLuck #AyutthayaTemples #Ayutthaya #ayutthaya
