Took the 25km-ish ride down from Duong Dong with a stop at nearby Thiền viện Trúc Lâm Chùa Hộ quốc temple along the way.
Beautiful secluded white sand beach tucked away on the southeastern end of the island amidst a hilly backdrop. Many fishing boats moored a few hundred metres offshore giving it that distinctive Southeast Asian feel. Deck chairs and umbrellas are for rental and plent of vendors where you can buy a fresh coconut juice, snacks or a cold beer.
Access is via a small winding dirt track from the main road and a large treelined parking area (with more vendors). I was there in September so not overly touristy, or crodwded at all and was easy to get a quiet spot of my own.
Swimming was great. Despite being slightly overcast, it was still very warm. A relaxing day out in a beautiful spot. Recommended. Easy to get to in around 45 minutes from Duong Dong.
