[Nagasaki] Exotic Dutch Hill

Nagasaki was once home to Dejima, and was one of the few cities in Japan with ties to the outside world. The charm of Nagasaki is that you can still see traces of that connection in the city today. One of these charms is Dutch Hill. This hill is located in the Higashiyamate district, which is lined with old buildings and full of exotic atmosphere, and it is said that its name comes from the fact that the Dutch and others often passed through here after the country opened up to the world.

It may look like an ordinary hill, but I think Nagasaki is a city where you can feel history even on a hill like this.
