Seafood restaurant at Phu Quoc Night Market

This seafood restaurant is located in the heart of Phu Quoc, right at the heart of Phu Quoc. The market itself is like a walking street, with food carts and street food stalls, both seafood and local.

The atmosphere is like a series of open-air restaurants, with fresh seafood displayed in display cases, including shellfish, shrimp, and crab. We chose a restaurant that wasn't crowded.

The restaurant's layout is similar to a typical Thai a la carte restaurant, with tables and seating. There are about 15-20 tables inside.

The menu offers a wide selection of seafood dishes, including shrimp, lobster, shellfish, crab, and fish. The dishes are boiled, stir-fried, curried, fried, and even tom yum (spicy soup). We just looked at the pictures and chose the dishes. We ordered seafood fried rice, steamed shrimp with herbs, and congee with shellfish. Each dish was quite large. There were four of us, and we were perfectly full.

Every dish we ordered was delicious, with all the flavors to our liking. The seafood was quite fresh.

The prices are reasonable, considering the quality of the food. The portions are quite large. Seafood fried rice is 185 baht, steamed shrimp is 220 baht, and mussel congee is 160 baht.

Service: There aren't many staff members and they don't speak English, making communication difficult. They're always busy.

Personal opinion: I recommend trying this place because it's delicious and worth the price. You might have to choose your restaurant carefully, as some restaurants can be quite crowded. I recommend ordering the steamed and boiled dishes.

Location: Duong Dong Phu Quoc Night Market on Street 54, Đường Nguyễn Trãi, Khu 1, Phu Quoc
