Muang Komaraphat Temple, Phuket

It is an abandoned temple under the care of Wat Phra Nang Sang. Locals still believe that Wat Muang Komaraphat used to be a temple before the time of Thao Thep Kasattri (Than Phuying Chan) and Thao Si Sunthon (Khun Muk). Before the Talang War in 1785, the ruler of Thalang used the grounds of Wat Muang Komaraphat as a place for military training. Wat Muang Komaraphat is considered an important and historically valuable temple in Phuket Province.
