When we went, we chose to sit at The Wave Beach Bar & Surfing, which is not very busy. There is both an indoor bar area and a beach area.

For those traveling by public transportation, you can take a songthaew at the fountain roundabout, Phuket Town, the destination is Bangtao Beach. It takes about 45 minutes. The fare is 45 baht per person.
