Snowflakes were inspired by pins or brooches, an accessory that is often seen attached to the clothes of Phuket Baba Peranakan people. It is shaped like a scattered star, which is an important accessory attached to the Kebaya costume of the Baba people. The top of the Christmas tree is inspired by "Hua Kuan" or a crown of swaying flowers. It is a headdress of the bride in a wedding ceremony according to the Peranakan culture.
