| High Value Japanese Cuisine. 😎😎😎I've heard that Thailand, being coastal, offers high-quality seafood at relatively low prices, making it possible to enjoy very cost-effective omakase😋.
We have a little foodie in our family who's a serious Japanese cuisine enthusiast👧🏻, so I did some special research while planning our trip. When I came across Tree House at Anantara on Mai Khao Beach, with its excellent dining environment and reliable ingredients, 🤩I immediately made up my mind!
🌴【Dining Environment】Stepping into a Secret Green Wonderland
Entering Anantara feels like falling into a fairy tale! Layers of branches and leaves form natural green walls, 🌤️sunlight filters through the gaps creating dappled shadows. Following the winding path, individual villas nestled among lush flowers and plants hide deep in the jungle with a mysterious feel🌳!
🥂The restaurant is on the second floor, truly surrounded by trees as its name suggests. Enjoying your meal while feeling the sea breeze rustling through the leaves creates an atmosphere that's absolutely perfect💯!
🍣【Signature Food】Fresh Ingredients for a Taste Sensation
While waiting, the chef brought out a small crab🦀 to show our little one, saying he found it while preparing 🦪oysters - that freshness was impressive!
Japanese cuisine is consistently refined, but each bite offers a little surprise~ The freshly cut sashimi has beautifully distributed fat that melts in your mouth; the seared sushi carries a slight char aroma, and the rice has the perfect balance of sweet and sour! Every dish lets you taste the natural flavors of the ingredients.
🍶【Service & Atmosphere】Warm Friendliness Across Cultures
We were lucky to be the only guests during our dining period, and the head chef was super enthusiastic! While preparing the dishes, he patiently introduced each one's ingredients and preparation methods. The chef is Thai, has studied in Tokyo and Hokkaido, and even chatted about Chiang Mai's winter snow❄~
Before we left, he wrote on a seashell🐚 as a souvenir and let our little one write on one too, which we successfully brought home! This mutual connection between diner and chef is truly the soul of omakase😘!
💡Small TIPS:
✅ Email for reservations one month in advance - they reply super fast!
✅ About 3000+ baht per person🐷, excellent value for money!
✅ The hotel is beautiful but a bit pricey - you can just come for a meal and check it out!
🥳🥳🥳From the environment to the dishes to the service, this omakase restaurant is not to be missed by Japanese cuisine lovers - it's absolutely a feast for both your taste buds and soul~
