Explored the old town of Phuket and had a relaxing stroll. The pastel-colored buildings lined up beautifully, giving off a vintage vibe no matter where you take photos. There are also several street art spots to enjoy, making the walk even more delightful.
Stopped by for a meal at 'Kopitiam,' a charming old-style restaurant with a classic Chinese heritage ambiance, blending Sino-Portuguese architecture. The highlight dish was Hokkien noodles, with chewy noodles stir-fried to perfection and topped with a soft egg. The generous portions of shrimp, squid, and pork exceeded expectations. Pairing it with iced Kopi, a fragrant mix of coffee and traditional tea, was simply perfect.
Other dishes worth trying include Mee Sua soup, fried tofu, and local desserts like O-Aew, a refreshing treat. Prices are very reasonable, around 100 THB, making it a great value.
Overall, the experience was fantastic—strolling through the old town and enjoying delicious food all in one day. 🏮🍜📸
