Fantastic Family Stay at Mandarava Resort

We stayed for 17 days in one of the four Andaman Private Pool Villas as a family of three with our 4-year-old daughter. Our time at the Resort was fantastic in every aspect. The surroundings are extremely green， well-kept， and give off a charming jungle vibe. There's an assortment of public pools with just the right mix of size and seclusion. The meals and drinks served at both the restaurants and poolside are quite good. Dinner at the Charm Thai， in particular， was delightful. The staff (all of them!) are consistently friendly， prompt， and professional. There's a free shuttle service to the beach and back to the hotel. If you prefer a more solo trip， you can easily grab a taxi or TukTuk for around 200 Baht each way. Without a young child with us， we might have walked the distance， which takes about 10-15 minutes depending on your pace. Karon boasts several dining options. We recommend the Kata walking street night market， about 7-10 minutes by TukTuk (250 baht) from the hotel. It's great for street food， though it can be quite warm due to the narrow streets. Apart from food， they sell typical market items. If you prefer a livelier scene or nightlife， take a taxi to Patong， about 15 minutes away (400 baht). Patong stays bustling at night until 5:00 am， offering bars， restaurants， clubs， and markets. Returning to the Resort， we highly recommend it for couples， families， and solo travelers. Note， however， that being in the hills means steps and steep roads. This didn't bother us (even with a 4-year-old)， but the hotel can transport you by car anywhere within the resort if needed. Overall， we had a wonderful time at Mandarava Resort! Thanks!
