Review of Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach

Today, I finally have time to write a review for Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach, one of the most beautiful hotels in Patong.

The hotel has a separate building for Elite members located near the beachfront. On the ground floor, there is a Starbucks coffee shop. The rooms are spacious with soft beds and a bathtub. Stepping out onto the balcony, you can see the swimming pool and the sea view, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the cool breeze. The atmosphere is truly wonderful.

The hotel has a private beach, but it is not ideal for swimming. In the morning, the tide is high, covering the rocks, but in the afternoon, when the tide goes down, many rocks are exposed. If you want to take a walk, it is recommended to wear shoes to avoid getting cut by the rocks. The seawater is crystal clear, and you can see fish swimming among the rocks.

There are three swimming pools here, which help to reduce crowding. The large outdoor pool is located in front of the beach and has a bar serving drinks. There is a kids' pool with toys and a slide, and a waterfall pool located in a corner of the building, which is shady and cool with floating cushions for lounging.

Breakfast is served at two locations from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The food is not particularly outstanding, with limited options that are quite basic, such as egg dishes, noodles, porridge, rice soup, salads, fruits, pastries, juices, tea, coffee, etc.

Overall, I was quite impressed with the services provided by the hotel. All the staff were very lovely, always smiling and greeting us whenever we passed by. Thank you for the cake, teddy bear, and greeting card. I will definitely come back again if I have the chance! 😍
