At the Top of Phuket: A Trip to the Big Buddha in 2022

The Big Buddha statue in Phuket was once a symbol of the island. There is also a temple complex located here. I visited it in December 2022.

✨ The statue is situated on a hill, offering stunning views of the island.

✨ Several times a day, staff conducted free meditation sessions. At that time, I was a beginner, and it was challenging to completely clear my mind, but I still managed to relax a bit and let go of my worries.

We traveled there on our own, by taxi. However, on the way back, we decided to save money and walked down, which turned out to be quite reckless. Fortunately, halfway down, a kind woman in a car picked us up and drove us to the nearest beach 😃

I definitely enjoyed the walk. I took vibrant photos, managed to relax, and gained a fresh perspective on my problems.
