Review of "Grand Mercure Phuket Patong Resort" 5 stars, Patong Beach - Let me start by saying that I did not intend to stay at this hotel at all. I got a voucher that was sold on a Facebook group.

Feelings before staying: Let me say that I have never stayed at a hotel in the Mercure or Novotel chain. I usually feel that they are tall buildings. Personally, I like the style of hotels that have an area.

Atmosphere: Since the day we checked in, it was already late at 9:00 p.m. and it was drizzling. The front desk staff was dressed in a modern Thai style, with a slightly off-the-shoulder shoulder-length sash. The lobby looks like Thai style.

Location: The hotel is actually not located on Patong Beach. It is on the main road behind Patong. The entrance is quite hard to find, especially at night. There is no large sign to help you find it easily.

Breakfast buffet line: The most impressive thing was the breakfast buffet line. Let me tell you, this hotel is very complete. There are 2 stations with chefs: Eggs + Noodles

Facilities: Since it is a 5-star hotel, it is quite standard. There is a swimming pool that is quite wide. I recommend choosing a pool access room, which is more convenient than choosing a deluxe room.

Room: We got a deluxe pool access room. Personally, it is quite narrow for us. I am not sure if it is because we chose a twin bed or not. The bathroom does not have a bathtub. #Sleep and relax, beautiful accommodation #Phuket
