Ha Giang - The Stone Plateau in Bloom

Ha Giang is the northernmost province of the country, bordering Cao Bang province to the east, Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces to the west, Tuyen Quang province to the south, and China to the north. The winding and steep roads of Ha Giang are inherently challenging for drivers. However, when you look around, the tension gives way to a feeling of relaxation when admiring the beauty of the plateau.

When arriving in Ha Giang city, you can rent a motorbike to travel on your own for 150,000 - 300,000 VND per motorbike per day. On the contrary, if you do not have enough time and health, or if your group includes the elderly and children, you should rent a 7 - 16 seater car.

Where to go in Ha Giang?

• Ma Pi Leng: Known as one of the "Four Great Passes" of the North. This pass is about 20km long with majestic scenery, so it is very suitable for those who want to admire the scenery of Ha Giang.

• Border markers: Ha Giang has many border markers from marker 172 to marker 517.

Many border markers are easy to visit, and there are many super beautiful landscapes around.

• Quan Ba Heaven Gate: Located at an altitude of 1500m
above sea level. From here you can admire the entire super beautiful Northwest mountain and forest landscape.

• Dong Van Stone Plateau: This is a stone plateau area stretching across 4 districts of Ha
Giang. This place was recognized by UNESCO as a
Global Geopark since 2010.

Located at an altitude of 1000 - 1600m above sea level, Dong Van Plateau has important significance for the development of the ancient Earth.

• Yen Minh pine forest: Possesses extremely poetic beauty with rows of cool green trees reaching to the sky. The pine forest brings a sense of peace, relaxation and fresh air.

• Pa Vi Hmong Village: In Pa Vi Hmong Village, many cultural beauties of the ancient people are still preserved, from architecture, housing, to costumes. Coming here, you will get lost in traditional rammed earth houses with extremely impressive yin-yang tiled roofs. Besides, there are images of Mong girls in beautiful brocade costumes. • Lo Lo Chai Village: Unlike other places, people in Lo Lo Chai almost still retain all the cultural values of the ethnic group in their daily lives. From house architecture, costumes, traditional occupations, festivals, or other elements of material and spiritual life. The village is only 1km from Lung Cu flagpole. It is recommended that everyone stay in the village for 1 night to experience the ethnic culture.
