Mist and Rain in Siping Like a Poem and Painting

The internet-famous Siping Village is a traditional village under Xiling Township, Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, with a history of over 600 years. The ancient residences are built along the mountains, preserving historical relics such as the complete Tea and Salt Ancient Road and ancestral hall complexes. In 2023, it was included in the sixth batch of China's traditional village list and was awarded "Fujian Province's Most Beautiful Garden-style Ancient Village." The existing traditional buildings are densely distributed on the mid-mountain terraces, forming a spatial texture of "houses connected to houses, alleys interconnected." Public spaces like the Pan Clan Ancestral Hall bear witness to the history of family settlement.
