This seaside B&B is so charming, I could stay here forever! Who can relate? Near Changjiang'ao in Pingtan, I stumbled upon a seaside B&B with an "orange vibe." From the moment you step through the door, it feels like you've fallen into a sunset-inspired color palette.

🍊 Surrounded by the healing vibes of the orange sea
The exterior walls of the B&B are a gentle orange-pink, paired with white fences and wooden walkways. Bougainvillea bushes bloom at the entrance, their petals fluttering in the breeze, creating picture-perfect moments reminiscent of a French seaside magazine. The common areas are beautifully designed—grab a wicker chair in the evening and watch the wind turbines of Changjiang'ao spin as the sky turns the color of orange soda. Even the sea breeze seems to carry a hint of sweetness.

We stayed in the "Shi Hai" room, and it was amazing! The room comes with a private sea-facing terrace. In the morning, you're awakened by sunlight as the waves shimmer like scattered gold before your eyes. At night, draw the sheer curtains, lie on the soft cotton bed, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves—so cozy you won't want to get up!

✔️ Electric scooters for rent, complete with helmets and raincoats (super thoughtful given Pingtan's unpredictable weather)
✔️ Local-style breakfast: fish ball soup, guobianhu (a local rice paste dish), and boiled eggs. You can even ask for seconds to fuel up for a day by the sea.
