Pingtan Orange Sea · The Orange Sea Seaview Vacation Homestay (Changjiang'ao Beach Branch)
Day 1
The sky was just right when we arrived at the Orange Sea.
Looking out the window, the windmills slowly turned on the hill,
The wind blew in from the sea, carrying a hint of saltiness.
The room was very clean, simply decorated, with a floor-to-ceiling window facing the sea.
There was a small courtyard downstairs, with towels and a few pots of flowers drying in the sun.
At night, sitting on the balcony watching the windmill lights gradually turn on,
The sound of the wind was quiet, and there was no need to speak deliberately.
Day 2
The morning smelled of coffee.
Breakfast was on the first floor, with fruit placed on a wooden tray.
The owner smiled and brought a basket of oranges, saying today's were sweeter than yesterday's.
After eating, we borrowed an electric scooter to go to the beach.
Along the way were fishing boats and stone houses,
The wind brushed past our ears,
We could hear someone shouting in the distance.
The beach was very close, just a few steps away.
After the tide receded, a mudflat appeared,
Little crabs crawled out of their holes,
Underfoot was fine, wet sand.
The afternoon light was especially gentle,
Sitting in the courtyard drinking iced coffee, watching the dog sleep at my feet,
Feeling that doing nothing was also very good.
Day 3
Woke up very early on the last day.
The sunlight shone just right by the window,
The shadow of the windmill slowly swept across the floor.
After showering, I brewed a cup of tea.
Didn’t go anywhere, just sat on the balcony.
The Orange Sea is three minutes from the beach,
There is a convenience store downstairs, and a few small restaurants nearby.
Eating and shopping are convenient,
But the most comfortable thing is the quiet in the room.
This homestay has no special sense of ceremony,
It just makes people feel relaxed and at ease.
The wind blows outside the window, the sea is not far away,
Everything is just right.
