Good Morning from the Horizon in Pingtan

I've always felt that mornings by the sea have a peculiar magic. They are neither noisy nor bustling, but quietly light up, like life slowly drawing open its curtains.

This time, I stayed at the Pingtan Xinqi Sunrise Seaview Resort Hotel (Longwangtou Beach branch). My room was on the 21st floor, and when I opened the window, I could feel the breath of the sea.

The morning light seeped in bit by bit. The waves rolled beneath my feet. I sat by the window, watching the sunlight climb onto the edge of the bed. At that moment, I didn’t want to speak or take photos. I just wanted to stay in the stillness of that moment.

🏖️ This hotel is right next to Longwangtou Beach. There weren’t many people, and the breeze was just right. When the sea breeze brushed past my cheeks, I suddenly felt something—Pingtan’s waves aren’t just crashing against the shore; they’re also waking me up: to feel, to pause.

The room was spacious, clean, soft, and quiet. The bed was perfectly soft, making me reluctant to leave. On the day I left, I even ordered the same pillow, hoping to bring this comfort back to my daily life.

At night, the sound of waves faintly reached my ears, and the lights outside gradually lit up. I thought, this must be the true meaning of "vacation"—not about traveling far, but about letting your heart slow down for a moment.

Perhaps we all need a day like this: no rushing, no thinking, just watching the sun rise from the horizon and saying to yourself—Good morning. 🌤️
