Kenting National Park

Kenting National Park, located at the southern tip of the Hengchun Peninsula in Pingtung County, Taiwan, was established in 1982 as Taiwan's first national park. Encompassing both land and sea, it covers a total area of approximately 32,635 hectares and boasts a rich natural landscape and diverse ecosystems.

Geographical Location and Scope

- It extends from Nanren Lake in the north to Eluanbi in the south, bordering the Taiwan Strait to the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east.

- The land area is approximately 18,084 hectares, and the sea area is approximately 15,185 hectares.

- It includes several scenic spots, such as Eluanbi Park, Maobitou Park, and Baisha Bay Beach.

Tickets and Fees

- Most areas are free of charge.

- The entrance fee for Eluanbi Park is TWD 40; Maobitou Park is free.

Transportation

- High Speed Rail + Bus: Take the High Speed Rail from other cities in Taiwan to Zuoying Station, then transfer to the Kenting Express bus. The journey takes about 2 hours.

- Taiwan Railway + Bus: Take the train to Fangliao Station and transfer to a bus to Kenting.

- Driving: From Kaohsiung, drive south along Provincial Highway No. 1, then transfer to Provincial Highway No. 26.

- Airplane: Fly to Kaohsiung International Airport, then transfer to the airport express bus or a taxi.
