Stepping into Dapeng Bay for the first time, I was greeted by the expansive lagoon resembling an inland sea. The vast 532-hectare water area shimmered with a bluish-green hue, while the wetlands, mangroves, and flocks of birds created a serene sense of life. I particularly enjoyed leisurely cycling along the lakeside bike path, with the salty sea breeze brushing against me. Occasionally, I would catch sight of oyster platforms and small boats, narrating the daily lives of fishermen who once thrived here.

The most breathtaking moment was standing beside the Dapeng Bay Cross-Sea Bridge, waiting for the weekend bridge-opening show. As the bridge deck slowly rose, resembling a sail unfurling, the shimmering water and bridge reflections danced together, leaving a profound impression. At dusk, cycling on the bridge and gazing at the silhouette of Xiaoliuqiu in the distance, the gentle light enveloped the sky and earth, making time seem to slow down.

This place lacks the hustle and bustle of amusement parks, yet every pedal stroke and every frame of scenery draws you into a tranquil journey resonating with the coast, bridges, and wetlands.
