Coming to Liangshan reminded me of a folk song from the era, "July Liangshan." "In July Liangshan, we shared our hopes, saying this place is the dreamland I long for. In July Liangshan, there are no buildings, in July Liangshan, there are no neighing carriages or clamoring at night..." This is a short passage from the song, "July Liangshan." The lyrics describe the geographical environment of Liangshan. This is the Liangshan Recreation Area, located in Liangshan Village, Majiaxiang, Pingtung County. The most famous attraction is the Liangshan Waterfall, which has three tiers, each with its own unique characteristics. The first tier has a gentle flow, perfect for playing in the water, while the second and third tiers are more spectacular and require a challenging climb up the mountain steps. Originally, this was a simple waterfall with no admission fee, but after redevelopment and renovation, an admission fee has been added.
