Morning Jog Around Pingxiang Jade Lake

On the morning of August 3, 2025, I set out from the Hampton by Hilton Pingxiang where I was staying and took a leisurely jog of about 5,500 meters around the city's main roads and Jade Lake, the "lungs of the city." The dappled sunlight along the way and the sweat pouring down my body left me feeling utterly refreshed.

Pingxiang Jade Lake Wetland Park is located in the core area of Pingxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, at No. 1 Dachong Road, Anyuan District, covering a total area of approximately 58.68 hectares, with a water surface area ranging from 224,000 to 353,300 square meters. Built with an investment of 200 million yuan, the park serves as an ecological landmark in Pingxiang's northern new district, combining flood control and water storage functions with improving the city's microclimate. The picturesque scenery around the park makes it a popular spot for morning exercises and leisure activities among residents.
