Huzhuang Catholic Church

The Huzhuang Catholic Church complex is located in Huzhuang Village, 8 km south of the county seat of Pingyin County. It mainly consists of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church on the top of the mountain and the newly built Catholic Church at the foot of the mountain. Since Catholicism was introduced to Huzhuang Village, Pingyin County in 1604, a total of 7 churches of various sizes have been built in the village and on the mountain by 1966. The Our Lady of Lourdes Church on the top of the mountain in Huzhuang (also known as Our Lady of Lourdes Church) is one of the three major Catholic holy sites in China, along with Sheshan in Shanghai and Jiangnan in Jilin. It has a religious history of more than 400 years and is famous at home and abroad. The Our Lady of Lourdes Church on the top of the mountain in Huzhuang, Pingyin, Jinan is one of the three major Catholic holy sites in China. The history, architectural style, and religious significance of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church on the top of the mountain show many religious buildings and cultural heritages, such as the Our Lady of Lourdes Church and the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, as well as the beautiful scenery of the surrounding ancient villages.
