The Royal Castle dates back to 1249. Although severely damaged during World War II, it has been partially rebuilt. Today, it houses the Poznan Museum of Applied Arts (Muzeum Sztuk Użytkowych w Zamku Królewskim).

🗓️ Itinerary:

Poznan Royal Castle is located near Poznan's Old Town Square and can be reached on foot in about 10 to 15 minutes. However, due to its elevated location, the climb is mostly uphill, so it's worth taking some time. Once you reach the castle terrace, there are seats for resting. From the terrace in front of the castle, you can also enjoy a panoramic view of Poznan's cityscape.
